Initially intending to do a bit of home winemaking, Judy and Ian Robinson planted 500 vines at their Lower Barrington site. This soon evolved into a commercial scale venture. Among the vines sits an old lumber mill, also operated by the Robinsons. This is where the iconic Barringwood labels take inspiration, with a beautiful woodcut image which mirrors the delicacy and complexities of their wine.
Cherries and violets sing from the glass, there's just a dusting of vanilla oak - which gives way to earthy forest floor. A friend to any grilled or roasted meat.
