Gruyere is truly one of the most well know cheeses around the world and for good reason! With a complex balance of sweetness and salt this cheese is bursting with flavour regardless of the age. Hailing from the great Alps of Switzerland, this cheese was produced with Summer milk. These huge 30Kg wheels are meticulously washed and turned for years prior to being ready for consumption.
On the palate there are notes of caramel, mushroom, hay, earth and fruit with that classic nutty flavour we have all come to love.
