Riverine Blue is the only Buffalo milk blue cheese made in Australia! Buffalo milk has a slightly higher fat content than cow's milk, and the result is an extremely smooth and creamy cheese.
The cheese is slightly sweet, with almost fruity flavours complementing the smooth yet crumbling texture. This cheese is lightly salted and with hints of spice. Eating the rind is a must as it’s packed with barnyard characteristics and nutty flavours such as pistachios.
