Franche-Comte Region, France
Belonging to the family of gruyère cheeses, which are cooked, pressed cheeses, the Comté cheese is made of raw, cow's milk. Comte is creamy with a supple and smooth texture. The Comté cheese is artisan made, and is the most popular cheese in the world and rightly so!
Our Comté has been aged by Rivoire-Jacquemin, one of the smaller more niche Comté producers. It's 24 months old and bursting with nutty, fruity and lactic flavours.
